How To Pray

Ask the Lord to put the firefighters on your heart.
You can always pray for these three points:

- for an effective response in every emergency
- for safety from serious injury and death on the job
- for their relationships with the Lord, with each other, family and friends
If you want to pray more specifically it helps to be informed.

Firefighting is very stressful, especially now that training for and being prepared for possible terrorist attacks is a part of the job. You can pray that God would strengthen them for this daily pressure and for any task they face. You can also pray that when they go home, they would be able to leave work behind and enjoy their time off with family and friends.
